Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. We offer a wide range of veterinary medical services to keep your pet companions feeling their best:
Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services: Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs, which include the following:
Surgical Services: Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures.
Anesthesia: We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. Using the most modern equipment, the patient's vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures.
Internal medicine consults: We offer referrals to internal medicine specialists in Phoenix who have specialized diagnostic capabilities and assist us with the diagnosis of more complicated cases.
Radiology/Ultrasound Services: Our on-site, modern X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the quick diagnosis of many disorders. We also offer both cardiac and abdominal ultrasound imaging, which is a non-invasive diagnostic procedure. We are able to send our ultrasounds and our radiographs to specialists for their opinions and advice.
Electrocardiography Services: We provide ECG services on-site as well as telephone consultations with cardiology specialists.
Dentistry: Our dental services include prophylaxis (teeth scaling, cleaning, polishing, and sealing), dental X-rays, tooth extractions, and minor oral surgery. After a dental procedure, an at-home dental care program is developed with you and your pet for maintenence between dental procedures. After a dental procedure, we also offer free monthly toothbrushings and OraVet applications by our technical staff.
Laboratory: Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis, and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial and university veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.

Permanent identification: We offer Bayer's ResQTM microchip identification system. It is an ISO-compliant microchip system for companion animals, which safeguards your pet and helps increase the chance that he/she will be reunited with your family, should he/she ever become lost.
