Hospital Manager



Jeremy has been a part of Verde Veterinary since 2016. His background is in accounting and business which has taken him across the state of Arizona from Tucson to Globe and finally to Cottonwood. Jeremy is also a veteran of the United States Army. If you find Jeremy in the hospital his furry baby Missy will probably be close by; since coming together early in 2017 the two have become inseparable. Jeremy is active in our community and volunteers with Mingus athletics as well as a CASA. He also sits on the board of directors for the local CASA support board. His home is filled with his furry friends and his son who is the center of his world.

Client Service Representatives



Amelia was raised in the small mountain town in Tollhouse, California. She is the aunt of 10 and the mother of 2 cats that she adopted from Verde Veterinary Hospital. Amelia has been a part of Verde Veterinary Hospital since June of 2017. Outside of work Amelia enjoys relaxing, doing a little yoga, and organizing her closet.



A native of Illinois, Jeff moved to Cottonwood in 2016. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Illinois University, majoring in biology, in 1987. He has been a member of Verde Veterinary Hospital’s team of technicians since December of 2017. Previously, Jeff worked at a leading veterinary reference laboratory for 23 years. Jeff has 3 dogs at home, 2 standard wirehaired dachshunds named Ziggy and Zoey and a miniature longhaired dachshund named Sprinkle. He exhibits his dogs in conformation shows and field trials.




Jackie has a beautiful dog named “Princess” who is a 9 year old Chihuahua/dauschand mix.  She is married and she and her husband are very active with volleyball, anything outdoors, and spending time with their families.  Jackie’s other great love is her morning coffee. 



Jamie has over 18 years of animal care experience not including her own pets. Her household consists of 6 dogs, 2 leopard geckos, 2 hermit crabs, and a tortoise named “Sheldon.” She also has a koi pond that keeps her busy along with a large indoor fish tank. In addition to her furry family Jamie is happily married with 2 amazing sons. Having so many critters keeps her life busy! She enjoys outdoor projects and playing in the dirt.



Barb grew up in a rural area where there were always plenty of opportunities to help all sorts of animals, both large and small. As she began her career in veterinary medicine Barb attended and graduated Brown Mackie College. She has been in the field for over 7 years and is both a Registered Veterinary Technician in New Mexico and more recently achieved dual status as a Certified Veterinary Technician here in Arizona. In her free time Barb enjoys travelling and spending time with her friends and family.



Madison moved to Cottonwood from Phoenix early in 2019. She graduated the Veterinary Assistant program at Pima Medical Institute in October of 2018. In her free time she enjoys all the outdoor activities the Verde Valley has to offer along with her newest pet, Arrow.


Jordann is new to Cottonwood. She moved here from Phoenix late in 2018 with her family and pets. Jordann has two dogs, Cashmere and Missie as well as a snake named Medusa. She spends her free time with her daughter going to parks and building memories in the library. Jordann graduated from Carrington College in the summer of 2018 as a Certified Veterinary Assistant and is planning to go back to school to further her education and advance her career in veterinary medicine.

Kennel Technicians



Evie has been with Verde Veterinary Hospital since May of 2010 as a kennel technician. She is also happy to help out however she can throughout the hospital. Caring for your pets has been so rewarding for Evie and she looks forward to continuing to do so. Her hobbies include swimming, needlepoint, reading, and writing memoirs about her animal nanny experiences. She is also kept busy with five cats and a dog of her own. Evie looks forward to being able to care for your pets.
